InterContinental Hotels Group has opened a hotel in Johannesburg and signed a franchise agreement with Choice Decisions 65 Pty Ltd. The five-star hotel is operated by Tsogo Sun, which recently celebrated its 50th anniversary, and the second Intercontinental hotel operated at O.R. Tambo International Airport, the Tsogos Sun Hotel. InterContinent, one of the world's leading hotel companies and the largest hotel chain in South Africa, has signed franchise agreements with choicedecisions65, a franchise company with a strong track record in the hotel industry, and its parent company Transnet.
The Sandton Hotel is one of the largest hotels in South Africa and the second largest in the world, consisting of a five-star hotel and two other hotels in Johannesburg. The hotel will have a fitness centre and an outdoor heated pool next to the hotel itself, as Sandon City is on the road and its properties are the Sandtons Sun and SandTON Convention Centre.
Other relaxation facilities include an indoor heated pool with panoramic views of the Johannesburg skyline. The spa reception is located right by the pool and while you are in the pools, you can watch the reception all the time.
